Today, you will work in pairs to create your own five clues for a city of your choice that we have studied in Global 1 this year. Once you’ve created one clue for each of the five themes of geography, you will challenge another group to categorize your clues and guess your city.
--Rules of the Game--
Teacher will assign pairs
Each pair gets one chromebook.
Each pair has one scribe (write notes and clues) and one hacker (in charge of online research).
Use The 10 Most Historical Cities in the World to choose your city and start your research.
Pay attention to trade, wealth, art, architecture, science, roads, technology, cultural diffusion, and other important factors we’ve learned about in class regarding cities.
If you are picking a city that has changed its name, make sure you indicate what time period your clues pertain to.
After 7 minutes to prepare your clues, you will give your clues to another pair so they can find your city.
